Another new piece – Structures #32

I completed several more quilts this week. This is the third in a series of large red quilts. I started the piece last summer and quilted it in Dec and Jan. Just got the binding on so it could hang in a show at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. More details on the show, with my critique group Material Evolution, coming soon but opening night will be March 11th from 5-7pm.

Welcome to my new blog!

I bought a digital camera! Now I can have a blog like everyone else.

We’ll start with a few new pieces. The first one is the latest quilt I completed. It was pieced in November 2004.

I also completed this small quilt over the weekend. It was pieced in 2002. Over the past couple years it has traveled with me to doctors’ offices, on airplanes, etc, anywhere I actually sat down for a few minutes and could do the hand stitching (known as seed stitching).
