Take Cover - Opening Tonight

Tonight is the opening for the invitational exhibit Take Cover at the Quirk Gallery in Richmond, Virginia.

I really wanted to make it to the opening but United wasn’t being very cooperative with their frequent flyer mileage seats available. If you are in the area and have a chance to stop by the show at some point (it closes February 24th) please let me know how it looks.

Here is the invitation for the show (front and back):

Here are the details of the show including the list of the 10 art quilters that were invited to participate. Should be an incredible show!

Congratulations, Lisa. You are in very good company, I see. Sorry you couldn’t get there.

Thanks. Yes - it’s quite an interesting lineup of artists. I know I was selected to participate from my quilt on the cover of the Quilt National 2003 catalog. At least that’s what I heard through the grapevine.
