Website Makeover & Upcoming Week
I spent the weekend updating my website so it has the same “look and feel” as my blog. It was a monumental task that I have been avoiding for several months but I’m thrilled to have it finished. There are quite a few new images in the galleries and lots of new information on the other pages. Some day I’ll get all 56 (and counting) Structures quilts on the main website but the 20+ I have on there now are a good start.
You’ll notice that my blog is now more seamlessly integrated into the website and my menu bar for the website is part on the blog also. So readers and click back and forth between the main website and blog with ease.
If you run into any problems or have suggestions please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or email me.
Now that this major diversion is mostly finished (I do have a list of half a dozen little things to tweak that I’ll get to over the next few days) I have a few more days of prep work for my solo show. And then finally I can get back to my studio and make some new art. I’m most looking forward to becoming reacquainted with my hand dyed fabric and design walls.

I like your new format for the web site. It is wonderful to see the progression from #1 to now. I will have to gather some friends and head to Columbus to see #31. It is only 2 hours away from Akron.

I’m glad to see more of your quilts on your website. The integration between your site and your blog is very nice. Good luck and congratulations on getting your solo show up - that’s very exiciting!

Love the new ‘look and feel’…I am green with envy at your ability to sift through all the html etc. Both sites look so effortless, but I know this is not easy to pull off.
congrats!

How very cool! I like how truly seamless going back and forth between blog and site is. It looks very nice and as always, I enjoyed looking at the quilts! The thing I love the most about them are your color selections. Gorgeous!

Congratulations on your new website design. I too am seeking greater alignment between my blog and my website but in terms of look and functionality but you’ve taken it to a whole new level. Well done!

I thought about your work the other day when I was listening to a series of programmes about dry stone walls: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/thewall.shtml
I hope that you can access and listen to them too.
I like the way that you have categorised the quilt galleries on your website. And it is indeed great to be able to switch between website and blog so smoothly.
