Lori - I must use the same decorator. Although my cats like best to drape themselves on my current project.

Thanks everyone for the congrats. The excitment is slowly wearing off and I need to get back to work and create more opportunities for myself.

And Stacey I'm hoping to work on something local soon. I'll definitely let you know.

Shan - the show you saw in Wisconsin was Quilt National 2005 with my piece Structures #31.

Kick-a** and many happy entries!

Your work certainly deserves that recognition, as does your work ethic.

And am a bit relieved to hear you're not super-woman (with all that canning I was worried.)

Although our house isn't in poor repair, the interior design is mostly piles o' books and cat-arrangements (you know, a cat draped decoratively over a chair, another strewn about the floor...)

Thanks everyone!

Patty - my house has issues that I should take care of also. My solution - ignore them and sell the place as a fixer upper. Gives me more time to quilt. The place is in desperate need of painting but I just can't seem to care (although my sister reminds me often how bad that is for the wood).

Course mice in the walls - hm - I'd have to do something about that. I had squirrels in the attic once - that cost a small fortune to get rid of.

Congratulations on all your recent successful entries! Great job! Please keep us informed of the dates and times you will be at exhibits. It would be great to meet you. Since I am in Ohio, Quilt National in Athens and Fiberart in Pittsburgh are in my stomping grounds so it looks like a couple of road trips for me next year!

I just admire you so much and am slightly jealous that you can get so much work accomplished. I definitely need to work harder at my goal setting and then following thru. I should be getting lots done since I am single with no kids, but sometime the remodeling of the house and lately pest control get in the way (I had to put up a fence last night to keep a skunk from ruining the rest of my yard - that took 2 1/2 hours and I have got a mouse in my house in the ceiling right over my sewing machine - yikes! - that I am trying to get rid of). Please keep inspiring us!
