Front Wall Installation Photo - Markings: Repetition and Pattern

It’s been a wonderful week with my kids home and I haven’t felt motivated to blog. When I found a bit of time a few days ago I processed the above image in photoshop and just started laughing. Anyone want to guess why?

from my point of view the whole picture looks upside down because of the very wide dado rail which has been placed so low down the wall (and one cannot really see the picture rail very well). I don’t know if that’s it, but it’s what struck me first when I saw the photo.

Not upside down - the hanging lines are visible above the quilts and the door looks okay… But what is it - that black looking thing above the blue quilt??

It would be awfully hard to hard to hang one of your works up side down given the rod pocket sewn to the back, but it looks like you POSTED it upside down on the blog. Not the end of the world, but definitely worth a giggle. :-)

Also agree with Monica - that #12 appears to be upside down.

It’s a beautiful show, regardless - the pieces look lovely in that space.

Yep - Monica got it - #12 is upside down. Kristin - exactly - um - I sewed the sleeve on the bottom. Oops!

The black thing is indeed a historical marker of some sort. Kind of funky but the purpose of the room is the lobby of a theater - so it has to do that job also.
