Rachelle - I agree - Alyson's advice goes far beyond just studio artists.

Thanks Jafabrit and Jennifer J and Claudine

Jennifer H - I love the litmus test! Where do you go first....

Yes Alyson - I think you can say you were a bestseller.

Veronica - thanks for the links

Thank you Brenda!

Tina - how funny we both podcasted around the same time!

Thanks to Tina, Patty and Veronica for playing the 'I want a free book' link game!

Thanks Nellie

Kathy - yes - I should have included the firefox instructions for the download - at one point I thought of it then forgot. Thanks for pointing it out.

I just received your newsletter. It looks fabulous! I can only imagine how much tweaking of the newsletter code you made to customise it for your purposes. Well done.

This is exactly what I needed...I've taken a two year sabatical from marketing and am ready to take the leap once again and found the advice to define success for yourself extremely valuable. I loved it so much I have also added it to my blog. Thank you.

Jennifer: I was #1 on Amazon at one time. They do it by the hour! And I truly don't follow along. Someone else told me he saw it at #1. So, can I say I'm a #1 bestseller? Thanks for your faith.

Hi Lisa -

I think there's an amusing IRBITS litmus test developing with the blog tour: Which chapter do YOU open to first when you get Alyson's book? For you, Lisa, it was the newsletter chapter. For me it's going to be following-up with potential leads.

Thanks for doing this great interview. I really agree with how important it is to define success for yourself. There's such pressure to define oneself by external measures, but staying passionately engaged in the *business* side of things is so much easier when *I* define the ideal destination.

Thanks so much!

Great job. Love the interaction. Great questions. I loved when Lisa commented about marketing and the concept of when she could quit. People often ask me when they can stop marketing their coaching practice and I always tell them that is an easy answer. When they want to stop coaching. Alyson is so right, Marketing doesn't have a beginning, middle and end, it is on-going. I also totally agree with Alyson about building your list. Everyone needs to build a strong customer base. What I love about Alyson's book is it applies to business, and not just the art business. I have gained so much from everything Alyson has shared in her book. And Alyson congratulations for making to number three on the Amazon Best Sellers list in the Art Biz section.

Thanks for hosting this Lisa. Really enjoyed it.
