I think there’s an amusing IRBITS litmus test developing with the blog tour: Which chapter do YOU open to first when you get Alyson’s book? For you, Lisa, it was the newsletter chapter. For me it’s going to be following-up with potential leads.

Thanks for doing this great interview. I really agree with how important it is to define success for yourself. There’s such pressure to define oneself by external measures, but staying passionately engaged in the *business* side of things is so much easier when *I* define the ideal destination.

Great job. Love the interaction. Great questions. I loved when Lisa commented about marketing and the concept of when she could quit. People often ask me when they can stop marketing their coaching practice and I always tell them that is an easy answer. When they want to stop coaching. Alyson is so right, Marketing doesn’t have a beginning, middle and end, it is on-going. I also totally agree with Alyson about building your list. Everyone needs to build a strong customer base. What I love about Alyson’s book is it applies to business, and not just the art business. I have gained so much from everything Alyson has shared in her book. And Alyson congratulations for making to number three on the Amazon Best Sellers list in the Art Biz section.
