I had to rent a storage unit, and I still miss having more space. Everyone says my house is so cozy, and it is. But I long for a large room for a studio. As it is, the first room you walk into after the foyer is my workroom (I just can't call it a studio yet). I've gotten used to it being sort of "out there" and visitors just have to accept that my house is untraditional! When you don't have much space, you have to define the spaces as YOU wish. I have read your posts in preparing, selling and moving and I think it is wonderful! I did the same , from a big house to a little place at the beach...I've never been happier ! WHAT a challenge...but the house looks neato-torpedo, and there sure is a LOT of potential. I'll be back to see how you've done...waiting with bated breath! BTW, I'm so sorry about your father but it was interesting to see that others do not necessarily bury ashes at once either (we waited a year to be ready to bury my own dad's ashes).
