Pattie - thanks - and good luck in your plan to revamp your schedule.

Cool Monica - glad to be of inspiration.

Anne - TV isn't necessarily bad. I personally don't like it but that doesn't mean I think it has no value for other people. I do rent an occasional movie and watch it on my lap top. Plus the boyfriend has a TV so can't avoid it when at his place.

Alyson - the interview was inspiring - I love the series of artist interviews you are doing. Plus I love Hilary's work so was very happy to see her on the list.

Schoobie: I think I selected to live in CO partly for the sunshine. While I would be energetic in a cloudy place I might not be quite as happy about it. I love the sun. If we go 2 or 3 days here without it I definitely start to miss it and feel a difference.

Man I feel like a slug!!!Slept in waaay to late today(day job is 4-10hr days M-Th).
You have got an awesome self dicipline thing going... no wonder I've proclaimed you my guru. Just wondering if you feel a difference when you have a grey sky day. I know in CO the % for clear blue skies are large. We've got the dreary grey winter skies thing going already.Typical for this area.
Interesting to hear about your battle with the TV. When I was living alone in my early 20's I chose to do without too. Last night I had a Travel channel marathon!Monica said it in a nutshell!
Damnned inspiring! Thanks again Lisa!

Anne: That doesn't sound bad. There are so many good educational shows and videos about art and other things that will help inspire you. I don't think you should feel guilty for watching these. And you have more energy than most!

Lisa: I hope you enjoyed the interview. I'm in the process of tweaking all of my pre-call notes with Hilary and am going to hand them out to everyone who participated. They contain even more good stuff!

Wow...that is very inspiring, Lisa. I will take your mantra of having enough energy, and visualizing working in the studio, great ideas. I know getting rid of that tv is key. Perhaps one day I will commit and do it . I have it down to only watching things recorded on the dvr, oh yes and netflix too 2-3 times a week...But of course that all just sounds just as bad, compared to chucking it.

Lisa, I have just reallized how I take my "time" for granted. You make do - in a huge way - with a lot less time than I. I admire your goal setting and planning and realize how much more I could do, if I would take on half of that kind of planning. Thanks for your candid sharing of ideas and putting yourself out there. You have invited a 'change' in my scheduling of time. I also like your workboard idea. Keep writing about how you do it, your work shows a clear mind and forward thinking plan! Bravo!
