Art for the Holidays
As the holiday shopping season descents upon us, I am going to revisit a theme I started last year on my blog: Buying original art as gifts.
To start with a review of last year’s Art for the Holidays topics:
- What is on Your Wish List? Add Some Art! – let them know you’d like some art!
- Research Preferences to Buy Art for Your Loved Ones – some tips on how to pick the right art gift.
- Involve your Kids in the Process – kids have some great insights and it’s a good way to share your values with them as you select the perfect gift together.
- Buy Kids Art – Start a Collection and a Tradition – I do this with my kids and my 2 nephews (teen and pre-teenaged boys).
In a world of facebook, walmart and plastic, I think giving hand-picked, hand-made original art is a fabulous way to let our loved ones know we care.
Today – a bit of self promotion…
Last Chance!
All remaining Art Cards (small artwork measuring 2.5 x 2.5 inches) are 40% off November 21 through November 30, 2012.
These 15 textile paintings are the last of over 90 textile art cards I made between 2007 and 2011.
As I no longer make artwork in this size, this will be your last chance to own one of my tiniest textile paintings.
Update 11/23 – All artwork has been sold – thank you to all that purchased a piece.
