A Few Bonus Openings in my Online Art Workshops

in Workshops and Lectures

A Celebration

Update – the classes are now up and running and I’m not accepting more new students this trimester – I’ll be teaching again this summer – check out my Course Catalog for upcoming classes.

To celebrate the near miss of financial mishap here in the US (our fabulous congress managed to get themselves together enough to kinda avoid driving our economy over a fiscal cliff) I am opening up a few additional seats in my online workshops.

If figured a few folks might have been waiting to see if we were on another downward spiral and so they waited to sign up. Now that things are looking pretty good -  I wanted to give you a chance to sign up.

Setting Goals

If you are looking to start your year off with a solid plan – I’ve opened 2 spaces
in this 4 week workshop.

My expectation is you will end this class (if you do the homework!) with a solid executable plan (plus lots of tools to help you stay on track) for your most fabulous year ever.

Read the details here and then you have to come back to this page to register:

The first lecture is Sunday morning at 10am Mountain time and it will be recorded so you can catch up pretty quickly.

The name of this class starts with a verb – so expect to dive right in on day 1 setting your goals.

Working in a Series

My signature workshop for artists looking to dive deep into their art making. Now expanded to 10 weeks, this workshop will take your art and studio practice to new levels.

Read the numerous testimonials former students in my Alumni Directory.

Read the details here and then you have to come back to this page to register (only 1 space available):

The first lecture is next week Sunday, January 13 so you have plenty of time to settle in and join the class.

Master Class

This workshop is shaping up to be a bit of a who’s who of my previous workshops.  If you’d like to join some extremely talented and motivated artists over the next 6 months as you aim your art down the path of remarkable – this is the workshop for you.

Read the details here and then you have to come back to this page to register (only 1 space available):

The first lecture is next week Sunday, January 13 so you have plenty of time to settle in and join the group.

Why I’m Doing This

I suspect I’m in procrastination mode as I’ve got a todo list a mile long and don’t really have time to write this post and deal with the admin of additional registrations, but I was thinking about how the crazy economy was impacting my decisions and feel this is just the right thing to do.

And have no fear – the enrollment for these classes will remain small as usual.  Currently they are all at 10 students and normally would be sold out but oops, I accidentally over enrolled a few of them and they have 11 students.  And okay, I’ll admit it – partly I’m doing this because I like round numbers :)  Ha – we all have a bit of OCD :)

I am teaching Working in a Series only ONCE online this year and so it just feels right to give everyone a last chance to get in.

But act quickly as this offer expires on Monday, January 7 at 5pm Mountain (or until the few new spots I’ve opened fill up.)

This page is the only page with the enrollment buttons – so read the class descriptions and come back here to sign up.

Hi Lisa: Am I too late to sign up for your Working in a Series, Setting Goals or Abstraction workshops? I just discovered your website and am really interested in taking an online class with you. I have taken many Nancy Crow classes so I am not a beginner. I am actively working on designing pieces on my own, but would like input into improving my work. I really like working in my own studio and prefer not to travel to classes (I have trouble sleeping in motels). If the workshops are closed, when can I sign up for them online in the future? Thank you.

Betsy – it is too late for working in a series and goal setting online in January but Abstractions is coming up in a few months – if you join my mailing list here (be sure to check the workshop box also) you’ll get an email when registration is open.

it’s also not to late to sign up for working in a series and abstractions at the Nancy Crow barn this fall – details of those classes are here: http://www.nancycrow.com/HTML/barnworkshops2013fall.html
